Cough & Sore Throat Syrup

Description

This syrup is for inflamed throats. It is has a soothing and calming effect on your cough and safe for all ages over 1 year old. My kids will sometimes pretend to have a cough because they love this syrup and think of it as a treat. 

Fennel seed is a mild anti-inflammatory and expectorant.

Licorice root is a very strong mucosal anti-inflammatory used for esophageal and respiratory inflammation. It can ease dry coughs and sore throats.

Marshmallow root is a mucilaginous herb that aids mucous membranes and lungs. It can soothe inflamed and irritated tissues while reducing swelling.

Ginger enhances immune function and increases blood circulation. It is a very strong anti-inflammatory.

Cinnamon is a strong antimicrobial and has very powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Cherry bark is an excellent expectorant.

Valerian root is used as an antispasmodic. *Caution, can be a stimulant to some people.

*Recommended for ages 1 or older due to raw honey.

We do not add thickening agents, refined sweeteners, preservatives, stabilizers, or anything artificial to our syrups as some of the store-bought products can have. This makes our syrups have a thinner consistency.

Available in half-pint or pint. You can pick up and our local Vine & Branch Shop in Paradise, CA. Most syrups are made to order so please allow up to 48 hours unless discussed with previously.

Directions for use: take 1-2 teaspoons every hour or two throughout the day or use a bout of coughing flares up.

Keep refrigerated. Shake well before use. Sediment is normal.

Stays good for an average of 3-6 months but we advise using it within 3 months of purchasing. With any of our syrups, we recommend that you do not “double dip” anything into the jar (spoon, syringe, etc) and do not drink directly from the jar itself to prevent bacterial growth for optimal shelf life.
