Injury Salve

Description

I created this salve when I hurt my back this pregnancy. It helps to soothe and heal your musculoskeletal injuries fast! Can also help to stop bruising and swelling at time of injury.

Ingredients: EVOO, arnica, lavender, calendula, plantain, comfrey, bees wax, Deep Blue EO (wintergreen, camphor bark, peppermint, ylang ylang, helichrysum, blue tansy, blue chamomile, osmanthus), lemongrass EO

Arnica improves the local blood supply and accelerates healing. It is anti-inflammatory and increases the rate of reabsorption of internal bleeding. Lavender has a mild pain relief effect and is antifungal.

Calendula can aid in speeding up tissue regeneration after injuries, burns and bruises.

Comfrey contains allantoin which stimulates cell growth.

Plantain is antiseptic, antivenomous, astringent and drawing.

Deep Blue EO can aide in soothing and cooling your injury.

Lemongrass EO can help relax sore/injured muscles.

Directions: apply as often as needed to affected area. Do NOT apply to broken skin.
