SunGuard Natural Sunscreen with Lavender

Description

SunGuard Natural Sunscreen is a homemade recipe with my kids in mind. This does not leave a white mess after applying it to your skin, no matter your skin tone.

Natural Sunscreen Ingredients:

Coconut oil*, olive oil, mango butter, beeswax pellets*, non-nano zinc oxide, red raspberry seed oil*, carrot seed oil*, vitamin E oil, and lavender essential oil.

Non-nano zinc oxide is an active ingredient used in mineral sunscreens to provide broad-spectrum coverage against both UVA and UVB rays. Non-nano guarantees you'll enjoy all the benefits of zinc oxide in the most safe and effective way possible. It is also coral reef safe.

Red raspberry seed oil has been proven to have an SPF range of 20-30.

Mango butter contains salicylic acid and antioxidants, which are known to protect from sun damage. Most notably, vitamins C and E are in rich supply in mangos.

Coconut oil typically has a low SPF ranging from 2 to 8 but is also nourishing to the skin.

The beeswax helps the sunscreen be water resistant, but not waterproof.

Carrot seed oil is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and carotenoids, carrot seed oil is a valuable ally in sun protection. With a natural SPF of approximately 38 to 40, it helps shield your skin from sun damage and promotes a more even skin tone.

Directions for use with natural sunscreen:

apply to exposed skin. Reapply every 30-60 minutes if in the water or sweating, or within 2 hours as needed. This can be used on the face as well but use caution around the eyes as essential oils are not eye-safe.

This SunGuard Natural Sunscreen with Lavender has not been lab-tested for SPF.
