Herbal syrups are a very family-friendly option for natural remedies. These are generally made with organic raw honey. The honey not only sweetens the syrup but aids in preserving it naturally. Keeping your syrups in the fridge can help them last for several months if you’re not introducing bacteria into the bottle.
Herbal syrups are not recommended for anyone under the age of 1 due to the honey. If you want to give to someone below the age of 1, it is recommended you use the syrup quick kits. You’re then able to add maple syrup instead of honey.

This is the cough and sore throat syrup kit based off of the syrup that I make for my community. It has gotten such rave reviews that I wanted to be able to share it with those outside of my local community. Shipping a large bottle of liquid however, is not an easy or inexpensive task.
So I created this syrup kit. It’s measured exactly for your convenience, even including a little brew bag to make it that much easier for you in your time of need. Directions are included of course on how to make. All you will need to add to it is water and your sweetener of choice, usually raw honey or maple syrup.
My kids often ask for this syrup and pretend to cough to try and convince me that they need it. It is delicious!
